To Angela McCormick, our new, very zealous and very well qualified Coordinator for Youth and Young Adult Ministry here at St. Theresa’s parish. Angela comes to us from Immaculate Conception parish in Delta, British Columbia where she held the role of Directory of Religious Education. Angela has extensive experience in sacramental preparation programs, confirmation preparation and involvement with youth and young adults of all ages.
Angela is a very well theologically educated young woman and she will be a great catechetical gift to our young people, both in the parish and in the twelve schools who are part of our St. Theresa Family of Schools. Angela has earned a B.A. in Christianity and Culture with a minor in Biblical studies, as well as a Master of Arts in Theology with a concentration in Liturgical Studies.
All of this is rolled into a bright young package which includes formation time spent with the National Evangelization Team, an elite Catholic youth ministry team who operates in many countries throughout the world, bringing the Good news of Jesus Christ to young people. Angela obtained her N.E.T. experience in beautiful downtown Australia and her post secondary studies in St. Louis MO. U.S.A.
We are truly excited to have Angela join our St. Theresa/Corpus Christi team. We look forward with joy and anticipation to the many gifts that Angela brings to our faith communities.
